I bought the application because I want to use it permanently offline while I’m out of my country, based on the map rendered and dowloaded from your site.
As I don’t know German, so I can’t use the manual, please give me some instructions about it.
For english speaking users, I recommend watching the Video!
For offline maps, you have to create a .map file using the render server. Select a region (you have to zoom in a bit), enter the captcha and click “Start rendering”. After downloading the map, you have to create a folder “gpsmap” in a folder named “Others”. Please note that the folder “Others” already exists on your device and is localized to your local language! Just create the folder “gpsmap” in there and copy the .map file in that folder. The map is then detected automatically.
I’ve created the “gpsmap” folder under “Other” on the memory card of the phone. Then put the rendered map there.
The application doesn’t detect it.
More, I set it to work offline, but it continue to connect to the internet.
